The Saint George’s Choir and Choristers sing Choral Evensong for Easter. Music includes Samuel Wesley’s Blessed be the God and Father and Joanna Forbes L’Strange Kings College Service. The Prelude begins at 3:45 pm by guest organist Dr. John “Chappy” Stowe. A festive reception follows in the Parish Hall.
Our monthly Choral Evensong is sung by the Choristers & Saint George’s Choir. Featuring Caleb Burhan’s Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis, along with Kurt Bestor’s Prayer for the Children, offered for the children of the world affected by war and violence.

Bring your favorite chili in a crock pot for others to sample, or just bring yourself. Chilies can be dropped off in the parish hall prior to Evensong. There will be music, decorations, a canopy of cantina party lights to provide a festive atmosphere, and a piñata grand finale for children. Beverages, salads, tortilla chips and chicken nuggets for children will be provided by the Saint Georges Men’s Group. The prelude to Evensong begins at 3:45 pm.

We celebrate the start of Pride Month with Choral Evensong for Trinity Sunday, a service that celebrates the all-embracing love of God. The organ prelude begins at 3:50 pm and is played by Saint George's Assistant Organist, Alfred Yoon who offers music by by Bach, Messiaen, and Gigout. We remember our loved ones who have gone before us with our annual All Souls Evensong. Time-honored scripture, prayers, and beautiful music mingle together to create a holy offering of love and praise to God. As a part of this service we invite you to light a candle at the altar in memory of your loved one. We read our Parish Necrology and name those who have passed away among the saints who surround us. A reception follows in the Great Hall.
Bring your pet to Evensong! At the conclusion of this short service, we process to the front lawn for the Blessing of Animals. Sung by the Saint George’s Choir and Choristers, Evensong is filled with beautiful music, prayer, and scripture that mingle together in holiness as evening approaches.

A rich revelation of the presence of God, our annual Evensong for All Souls is sung by the Saint George’s Choir and includes the reading of the Parish's necrology and a time to light candles in memory of loved ones. The service is followed by a reception in the Great Hall.
Holy Hour: Evensong and Refreshment - A short service is rich in prayer and scripture with beautiful music. A time to rest, recharge, and unplug. Healing prayers are offered beginning at 6:15pm and after the service. December’s Evensong will be centered in Advent and the our final days of waiting and anticipation of the arrival of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
