Choral Evensong is sung by the Saint George’s Choir and Choristers followed by our annual Chili-Cookoff. Music includes Morten Laurisdsen’s beautiful O Nata Lux and George’s Dyson’s evening service, which is often referred to as the ‘Star Wars Canticles’. The prelude begins at 3:45 pm.

Bring your favorite chili in a crock pot for others to sample, or just bring yourself. Chilies can be dropped off in the parish hall prior to Evensong. There will be music, decorations, a canopy of cantina party lights to provide a festive atmosphere, and a piñata grand finale for children. Beverages, salads, tortilla chips and chicken nuggets for children will be provided by the Saint Georges Men’s Group.
