Festival of Christmas Lessons and Carols

The Saint George’s choirs sing a service of Lessons and Carols for Christmas in the style of King’s College. Not to be missed. Doors open at 3:30 pm with a prelude by Saint George’s Artists in Residence, the 9th Street Quartet. Admission is free and open to the public. A festive reception follows.

Join us to celebrate the season with this extended prelude to our 10pm Festival Eucharist for Christmas Eve. The Saint George’s Choir and Orchestra offers Bach’s popular Cantata 140, Wachet auf ruft uns die Stimme (Wake awake, for night is flying). Come early to enjoy this wonderful work as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
